Joseph Madafferi
Joseph is the owner of Carbon Developments, which has proudly operated for the past 13 years, building strong foundations both in construction and within the community. For the last eight years, he has been actively involved with Madeley Primary School’s P&C, including six years as President, and has also served on the School Board for three years. These roles have enabled him to support school initiatives and foster connections between families, staff, and the broader community. As a parent, he has a son in Year 8 and a daughter who will be starting at Ashdale Secondary College next year. He is passionate about contributing to a welcoming, supportive school environment where children and families can thrive.
Mark Paulton JP BSc (Eng) (Hons) NMAS PRI
Mark is a parent with two children at Ashdale SC — one thriving in Year 9 and another beginning their journey in Year 7. He is passionate about ensuring every student has the best opportunity to succeed. He wants to see ASC continue to provide an excellent, supportive, and well-resourced environment for kids right through to Year 12. With experience on the Madeley Primary School Board and as P&C President, he understands how schools set priorities, plan resources, and measure progress. He will utilise these skills, combined with his background in the mining and resources sector, to enhance ASC’s STEM focus and promote inclusive opportunities across academics, the arts, and co-curricular activities. As a Justice of the Peace and accredited mediator, he brings fairness, impartial decision-making, and constructive dialogue — ensuring ASC remains a place where every student can thrive.
