STUDENT ENGAGEMENT

Compass

Compass is an integrated, cloud-based school information system that the College utilises to report your child’s absences and receive pastoral care information about your child.

WHAT IS Compass?

The Compass software application delivered by the Department of Education’s Program Kaartdijin is used by many schools across Australia to track student attendance and activities.

Compass helps parents, families, carers and school staff access the most up-to-date contact and pastoral care information for your child.

ATTENDANCE AND PASTORAL CARE PORTAL

Compass

Parents can use the Compass parent portal to report student absences and receive pastoral care information, such as letters of commendation.

The accuracy and management of student records are confidential and a critical tool for schools.

Compass will ensure communication between families and carers is efficient and easy, to inform them about incursions, excursions, events and camps, obtain consent, and collect data on student absence, medical information and payments.

Access Compass

Web or app – Compass software and mobile apps are accessible via a web browser or can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play.

Video – The Department of Education’s Compass setup video below is a good resource for learning how to access and navigate the Compass parent portal from a desktop or mobile device.

Note: Only attendance and pastoral care features are active. We will update all features, including events and payments, once our policies and procedures are completed.
