Learning Hub

The Berners-Lee Learning Hub is an engaging, student-focused learning space that encourages engagement in multifaceted activities.

Within the Learning Hub is the College Library. The Library staff understand and undertakes the responsibilities identified in the Australian School Library Association’s Bill of Rights. Therefore, Ashdale SC students and staff can achieve appropriate, lifelong learning outcomes to become competent and confident readers and independent, efficient and effective users of ideas and information.

Students and staff have access to the library system on and off school grounds, using the web-based catalogue to browse, select and reserve a wide range of recreational and curriculum resources in both printed and digital formats.

Curie Cafe

The College cafeteria, the Curie Café, is privately operated by Inspired Cravings Pty Ltd. The Café menu follows the Department of Education’s Healthy Food and Drink Policy, supporting and promoting students’ healthy eating. The Café is open daily for recess and lunch and provides various food and drinks with cash and EFTPOS facilities.
